Diamond Grind + Prep
Mechanical grinding to the correct CSP profile. Crack chasing and mechanical repair (not cosmetic filler). Moisture testing. Ambient conditions logged. This is where coating life is determined.
Prime + Base Coat
Primer matched to the slab’s porosity. Base coat rolled and back-rolled to spec thickness. Temperature and humidity re-verified before every pour.
Decorative Layer
Flake broadcast, metallic pigment swirl, quartz broadcast, or color coat depending on your system. This is the visible finish, applied with time-tested technique, not on-site improvisation.

01How long does a garage epoxy install take?
3-4 days for most residential garages. Day 1: diamond grind, crack repair, moisture readings. Day 2: prime + base coat (+ flake broadcast if applicable). Day 3: topcoat. Day 4: cure. Walk on it after 24 hours, drive on it after 5-7 days.
02Can you do my garage in one day?
No. One-day installs skip diamond grinding, skip moisture testing, or cure under conditions that guarantee failure in 12-18 months. The shortcut they take to do it in one day is exactly why those floors peel.
03Is garage epoxy slippery when wet?
Not the way we install it. We blend a fine grit additive into the topcoat for traction in wet conditions. Standard for every garage we install, we don't make you ask.
04How long does a properly-prepped garage floor last?
A residential garage with proper prep, the right product, and a urethane topcoat lasts 10+ years. Poorly prepped 1-day installs fail in 12-24 months. The visible coating is only as good as the invisible prep underneath.
05What system is best for my garage?
Depends on use. Family garage with kids and bikes: flake. Showcase or hangout space: metallic. Workshop with chemicals: quartz. Auto-shop with heavy traffic: solid color with thick build. We recommend during the walk-through, not the most-expensive, the right one.
06What does garage epoxy cost?
Depends on square footage, prep scope, and finish system. Most 2-car garages are priced by what we find under the existing coating (or under the slab). We don't publish per-sq-ft pricing because the honest answer is “it depends on what we find”, but every quote is firm and itemized.
07Can you fix a failing existing floor?
Sometimes. We grind the failing material back, moisture-mitigate the substrate, evaluate the crack pattern, and spec a compatible re-coat. Some slabs are recoverable; some need full demo. We tell you the honest answer on the walk-through.
08Do you warranty the work?
Yes, written workmanship warranty on every garage install in addition to the manufacturer's product warranty. If the coating delaminates, cracks, or peels because of our work, we come back and make it right.
